How can I improve the social
performance of my employees, especially when dealing with
one another’s differences?
Question: How can I
improve the social performance of my employees, especially
when dealing with one another’s differences?
Answer: The reality
is there are actually only three ways any of us can change
the behavior or performance of another human being. As narrow
as this may sound it is reality.
1. If you have influence with a person they may follow your
advice or alter their behavior simply because you suggest
it. When you have influence with another person they hold
you in high regard, and desire your affirmation. Use that
influence to your advantage. To learn more about how to develop
influence read the article, “3 Leadership & Influence
Principles Revealed Through Exhaustive Research.”
2. Incentives are an excellent way to motivate employees.
Most, but not all people are easily motivated by rewards,
bonuses or incentives. Of course to get the most out of your
incentives make sure you understand what would be perceived
most rewarding by your staff.
3. Last but not least you may need to resort to using consequences
to motivate your team. Again most people have a strong impulse
to avoid pain. If you can inflict pain for non-compliance
or non-performance you can change behavior.
All that being said my experience has taught me that most
people want to be great. They want to succeed and be known
for doing a good job. That means some well planned training
may turn your performance problems around. I recommend your
team receive training in two areas every year. Everyone should
participate in diversity training and communication training
every year. The fact is that few of us come by excellent social
skills naturally. But, it can be taught. I would be delighted
to provide both training programs fully customized to best
meet the needs of your team.

Thought to Ponder
Every
time I turn on the TV or read the news I hear someone crying
that the government needs to come to our rescue. Frankly I
am sickened by the numb thoughtless bantering of media manipulated
Americans. If you think the economic times are so bad then
make some personal commitment to create some security for
yourself. Assume responsibility for your own health, financial
security and self preservation. How dare anyone assume that
tax payers and or the government should be held responsible
for their poor self management? Think for a change. I would
be delighted to help you improve the quality of your life.
I would be delighted to serve as
your coach and help you on your journey. Simply invest
in a coaching voucher and we can get started immediately helping
you create a clearer and brighter future for yourself and
those you love. As your personal coach
I provide you with three advantages: objective ideas and solutions,
cutting edge technology tips and information, and routine
motivation and support. Be the champion you deserve to be.
If you know your priorities are out of whack,

If you believe what the doomsayers and analysts for the media
are screaming, “the bubble is about to pop” and
real-estate may not be a real safe investment now. Hopefully
you know better than to believe everything you read and hear
in popular media. The fact is the real-estate market, like
the stock market, is cyclical. There are certainly times when
earning potential is higher. However, if you invest smart,
there has never been a time when real-estate was a bad investment.
So, I want to share why I think this and any time is a good
time to buy, and how to buy smart. I am sharing information
here that you would otherwise pay a considerable amount to
get, so read well and think long and hard about what I say.
Buy and hold
The real-estate bubble has always remained. It has lost wind,
and gone near flat on numerous occasions, however it has never
actually popped. Nor will it ever. The people who survive
and thrive in downturns are those holding. Worst case scenario
is that you end up holding a piece of property you will have
to manage as a rental for some years to recover or profit
from your investment. Whining aside, if you work smart, screen
tenants and maintain your investment it will pay you back
huge dividends. Those profits don’t make tenant management
easy however.
